Frequently Asked Questions
1. How does becoming a Mobilemaps Agent benefit me?

If you
  • Have a client, or clients, who advertise locally
  • Have traffic through your site
  • Are looking to help monetise a site
  • Can suggest new clients to the NearbyAds service
Then becoming a Mobilemaps Agent, and introducing clients to the NearbyAds service will
  • Earn you a proportion of the money they spend
  • Provide a new revenue stream, or let you start your own business
  • Place you at the forefront of technology

2. How much do I earn?

How much you earn is proportional to how many advertisers you introduce to the service, and the number of advert click-throughs that their adverts generate.

For each click-through of an advert created from a link from your site you earn 20% of the revenue.

3. How do I get paid?

Each month we send out a payment to your Paypal account. The amount we pay you should be equal to your account balance at the end of the month. Your account balance will reduce to $0.00 again after this happens.

4.  When will I get paid?

At the beginning of each calendar month.

5.  How do I start the service?

You must first sign-up for a Mobilemaps Portal account, which will provide you with a unique Mobilemaps identifier number.

To start the service, include a link on your site with the Mobilemaps identifier number.  As soon as this link is available, any potential advertisers can begin signing up via your site, and you can start earning revenue from their advertisements.

For specific details see the section 'Affiliates Configuration (You have a Web link to some Portal's nearby engine software, but do not run the software yourself.)' in the Portal Control Center, which is the first page you see after logging into your Portal account.

6.  Do I have to install my own software?

No.  It couldn't be simpler!  You only need to provide a link on your site to the sign-up page.
